You can visit the oldest sake brewery in Osaka, founded in 1716, to see the sake brewing process and sample sake. At the Naruko Family Residence, a registered tangible cultural property, you will appreciate the atmosphere of those days while enjoying a view of the Japanese garden and experience making onigiri (rice balls made with sake rice) with the sake brewer. Make onigiri using excellent ingredients such as local specialty seaweed and tsukudani (seafood simmered in soy sauce and mirin). Sake is also available for purchase for those who wish to purchase.
